Paypal - wrong billing postcode

Hi all
Looking for some help please
Im a newbie to internet shopping and i purchased something from a webshop. i had to pay through something called paypal and when i put my billing address i put the wrong postcode but the correct street etc, will this affect it? I have recieved an email from the company i have purchased from showing my shipping address and billing address my shipping address is correct but my biling postcode is wrong the rest of the address is correct. I have emailed the company to change the postcode on my billing address, have i done the right thing?

    How much of the postcode was incorrect? If your real postcode is AA1 2BB and you typed AA1 9ZZ, but gave a full address then I wouldn't worry about it. If however you typed ZZ9 2BB, then whatever is posted to that address might get delayed, but you should still receive it.

    If the company concerned uses AVS, they might get a code A, but if that happens, they'll typically contact you for the correct details, or they might notice and automatically try your shipping address, or might not care at all.

    So just sit back and see what happens :)

    Only you can correct it, by logging in to your PayPal account and correcting the billing address. Once you do this, it will be correct when you next use it.
