awww thanks guys for all your support.
If I can't afford my debt I might just go bankrupt, at least I wont have to pay the money then for my lovely new Ipad I got on credit today. Might take out a bit more before I take the bankrupcy plunge though, may as well.....
Thanks for all your advice that wont be taken on board.

10k plus in debt and being flippant about it, really clever that.0 -

They'd not look too kindly on these sorts of posts I suspect.

Fantasy Island where fantasy loans come true.

Go on pheonix, back the lad up now :T:T
When did I "back the lad up" in the first place?
If you had cared to read some of my other posts, I did not defend the OP, I merely stated that I thought other people's comments were harsh, as I thought they were based solely on the OPs original comment in this thread.
Having learnt more about the OPs situation, I in no way condone it.Santander Loan [STRIKE]£3003[/STRIKE] £2100AA Credit Card [STRIKE]£3148[/STRIKE] £2676Natwest OD [STRIKE]£1500[/STRIKE] £1370Cahoot OD [STRIKE]£1000 [/STRIKE]£650Capital One Card [STRIKE]£641[/STRIKE] £400Total [STRIKE](Jan 12)[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£9546 [/STRIKE] £7196 (Now)0 -

I don't understand.
Can you explain?
*genuinely curious*
Well, I have a mortgage, that will be a debt for the next 28 years, which will take me to the age of 59 (unless I pay it off early). Is this not counted as a debt?
I'll always have a credit card of some description. My aim is to use it much more prudently than I have in the past, by sending on it and paying off in full the next month. That is still a debt though, is it not (each time I borrow money for a month or so)?
I'll always take a 0% deal on items I need/want (new fridge, washer, TV, whatever) when they are available. I'll do this even if I have the cash available, why wouldn't I?
I like to have a new(ish) car, so I always envisage I'll have some sort of finance for this, at least for the forseeable future until I can build up enough savings to purchase one outright. My aim is to have finance, but with a bigger and bigger deposit each time until I can buy one outright.
The debts I have put in my signature are the ones I want to get rid of. My aim is to have these all paid off by Dec 2013 at the latest. Once they are gone, I will be left with my mortgage, my car loan and one credit card which I will maintain on a spend and pay off in full next month basis.
I see this as a decent plan for the future, maybe you all have other opinions?Santander Loan [STRIKE]£3003[/STRIKE] £2100AA Credit Card [STRIKE]£3148[/STRIKE] £2676Natwest OD [STRIKE]£1500[/STRIKE] £1370Cahoot OD [STRIKE]£1000 [/STRIKE]£650Capital One Card [STRIKE]£641[/STRIKE] £400Total [STRIKE](Jan 12)[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£9546 [/STRIKE] £7196 (Now)0
