Amazing how worthless electronic tat like phones and ipads tempt people into spending money they haven't got on rubbish they don't need.
Go figure.
We all buy stuff we don't need every day. For example, any liquid to drink thats not tap water. If you drink anything other than tap water its based on a want and not a need.
Just thought I would throw that out there.Santander Loan [STRIKE]£3003[/STRIKE] £2100AA Credit Card [STRIKE]£3148[/STRIKE] £2676Natwest OD [STRIKE]£1500[/STRIKE] £1370Cahoot OD [STRIKE]£1000 [/STRIKE]£650Capital One Card [STRIKE]£641[/STRIKE] £400Total [STRIKE](Jan 12)[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£9546 [/STRIKE] £7196 (Now)0 -

Its negative comments like this which annoy me. There is no reason for such a comment. How do you know there will be "a hitch"?

My post is what I understood as something which needed to be figured out by the OP.
He has a past history of bad credit but rather than address this he ran around grabbing credit cards so he had spending money for a holiday.
Now he is struggling with his outgoings each month, struggling enough to feel as if a weight has been lifted by taking on a TEN THOUSAND POUND DEBT not including Interest.
AND wanted an Ipad on credit....
If you can't see the warning signs, I understand fully how you come to have that signature.0 -

Have a look at his past posts.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
The OP asked us to figure something out but didn't tell us what.

Exactly, someone who is still trying to live a lifestyle they can't afford.
Whether the Ipad is interest free, having taken out a loan for 10k + interest, would highly suggest they should be looking at clearing debt and still not buying expensive items, which they no doubt do not need in any shape or form.
The money they would put towards the Ipad, would be better utlised towards getting them out of debt.
The OP sounds exactly like I was until 2009, buying electrics and holidays largely on a whim, while servicing a large debt and consolidating so the debt is getting larger and taking longer to pay off.
Hopefully as I did, they will get their lightbulb monent and finally realise it has to stop, before it ends in complete and utter disaster.
Or of course end up on DMP/IVA/Bankrupcy and suffer years of financial misery.0 -

And now you feel you know my life and see fit to pass vitriolic comment on it. Yes I have debt, I am comfortable with it. I will always have debt while I am earning. My debt is decreasing (you would know this from reading my signature).
In my defence, I did not know you had read all the OPs previous posts. Its not somthing I know how to do, so not obvious to me it can be done.
My comment was based solely on your response to just the OPs first post in this thread. Based solely on the OPs post, I felt it was unwarranted and your comment against me certainly is.
However, I apologise if I have caused any offence, but based on my understanding of the situation I felt you had been unduly harsh. I still feel you have been harsh on me as you know nothing about me.Santander Loan [STRIKE]£3003[/STRIKE] £2100AA Credit Card [STRIKE]£3148[/STRIKE] £2676Natwest OD [STRIKE]£1500[/STRIKE] £1370Cahoot OD [STRIKE]£1000 [/STRIKE]£650Capital One Card [STRIKE]£641[/STRIKE] £400Total [STRIKE](Jan 12)[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£9546 [/STRIKE] £7196 (Now)0 -
Well done, you are doing what the OP should be doing, reducing debt, but really you don't need to look at the OP other posts.
It's simple, taking out a 10k consolidation loan and still buying expensive electronics, really come on, that is just plain ridiculous.0 -
awww thanks guys for all your support.
If I can't afford my debt I might just go bankrupt, at least I wont have to pay the money then for my lovely new Ipad I got on credit today. Might take out a bit more before I take the bankrupcy plunge though, may as well.....
Thanks for all your advice that wont be taken on board.
