Sick to death of the HSBC

Hi all,
I have been a customer of HSBC for well over sixteen years, but have become more and more dissatisfied with their service so I have move all of my accounts both personal and business to Santander & Halifax... I left my HSBC business account overdrawn to the tune of £2000 for about the last six months since moving and they recently called me and told me that it had been cancelled and the wanted the 2 grand paying back by the end of the month, I argued with the person on the phone over the fact that I had received nothing in writing from them about the cancellation of said overdraft and that this was the first I had heard about it, The woman on the phone was very helpful and apologetic about the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of the overdraft and that as long as I paid it back in June she would waive a set of charges that were due to be applied.....So, I repaid the overdraft and even paid £5 over just to be sure I was in credit and have had no letters or statements from them since as I don't use the account...
However today I receive a phone call saying that I am overdrawn to the tune of £96 for more charges that have been applied, I explained what had happened previously and that the final charges had been waived and the account should be in credit but the guy on the phone was a bit of an arrogant unhelpful !!!!! and said the charges must be repaid before more interest and charges are added....
How can this be, I told them to swivel and I wasn't paying.....I await their response...
What do you make of this ?
