Adobe Photoshop

I had a picture and a friend of mine has edited so that my daughter has been almost cut out like, and put in a field, if that makes sense. It looks great and I would like to get this adobe photoshop. Now, there are lots of different versions on Ebay - can anyone tell me which version has the facility to do this?

All of them have the ability to cut out figures, I had a nice sideline removing ex hubbies from wedding pics.
It is a professional programme, and at first look is a complex programme, however there are loads of free Photoshop Tutorials on the net, which will teach you how to do this, and many other funky things.
I have had every version, Just recently upgraded to CS2 from V7, 7 Will be a bit cheaper but more tahn up to the job.

No need to spend money on something to do this. Look at programs like:

    The Gimp: www.gimp.org
    Serif Photoplus: www.freeserifsoftware.com
    paint.net: https://www.getpaint.net

  • Photoshop CS2 is the newest one.

Photoshop CS3 is currently in beta testing however and anyone can try it for free for 2 days on the website :)

Thanks! I have just downloaded the photoplus - trying to understand all the language they use, as far as I 'm concerned it mights as well be foreign cos it doesn't make too much sense! i am fairly good and confident on the pc but not familiar with photo editing. It'd be great if someone could give me a few tips on how to 'cut' something out of a photo and put onto a different background!??????

    Many thanks in advance.

Photoshop CS/2 is a fully featured industrial image editing suite with every imaginable feature and a pricetag to match. For beginners/amateur/small business use, Photoshop Elements has everything you could need or wish for, and an infinitely easier user interface and help files. My genuine OEM copy of Elements 4.0 cost me £21.94 (inc.P&P) on eBay.

He means he has the beta with a crack to last more than 2 days.. which by the way is obviously breaking law and forum rules.
