Tesco Credit Card - anyone got 0% period extended?

The 0% on purchases on my Tesco credit card is due to expire in October. My plan is to do a 0% BT to another card, and close the Tesco card. However, I am curious to know whether anyone has been offered an extended 0% period on a Tesco card at the end of the initial period?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I wasn't and I've never heard of such offers being made. People running off the end of a promo period with a balance is where they make their money. If they made a follow-on offer, they would be denying themselves a return.
Usual practice is for offers to come in after you've cleared the balance. You could try asking them - but the snag is, they might think you're bluffing and have nowhere else to send the balance!0 -
An extension for existing debt you mean? I'd say no chance!...I am curious to know whether anyone has been offered an extended 0% period on a Tesco card at the end of the initial period?
A follow on 0% on purchases offer for 'new debt' once the account is clear? Again, I'd say no chance!
A follow on BT offer for debt held elsewhere? Possibly, but I can't say I've ever heard of such an offer from Tesco PF on this board, or the stoozing website forums.0 -

I got Tesco Bank to reduce my APR for 6 months to 6.9% on a retentions offer, but it was pointless as I never incur interest anyway as I clear the balance in full. I only keep the card for 1 point per £ at the pump when used as a clubcard.0
