Holiday and JSA and reclaiming

Wanted to know what happens next. We have a family holiday booked as a celebration for my two eldest daughters having Graduated form Uni. Whilst looking for work, one of my daughters has made a claim for JSA. She did the online application, which was followed by two contacts from the Benefits people which were on our answer machine, as she wasn't there to receive them they basically cancelled her aplication!!! Ironically she wasn't in as she was handing out CV's and looking for work!!
Anyway she reinstated the claim and went for her first interview today she advised them that she had two weeks booked abroad and they have told her she won't get any payment whilst away, which is fine as she won't be available for work.
We have been told by a friend that she will have to start the whole process again, when she comes back, online application etc. Surely this would be counter productive for both her and them? Does anyone know what happens, does she simply reclaim, will all her info still be in the system and it's simply a case of reinstating the claim again? Or does she actually have to start from scratch? Thanks.

I believe that your daughter will be able to do a 'rapid reclaim' when she gets back.

Yea, quicker and simple process. (theoretically)
