Theres probably another appeal route on the way. Im booked in July so will keep an eye on it.

Just emailed them on the address on their website (which is still taking bookings?!) so will see where that gets me.

Did you rebook with someone else?

Not yet, I'll give them another week or so.

This was an appeal that failed. Not sure if they have another appeal available to the, though I do hope so. Perhaps a phone call is the quickest way to find out.

Got an email back from Karl (prompt!) that said that they were still running as normal and if anything changed they would let me know straight away!

Interesting tack, seeing as they have been ordered to cease business from their site in 10 days time!

I'd be tempted to go for a refund. These illegal car parks have been closing left right and centre. The appeal failed.

Still have the booking for next month and have had no email from Karl to say otherwise so I take it that they haven't closed operations?!

I've had a read through the Enforcement Appeal Decision and can't see any way out for Karl. This has been going on for years now. I would be weary of the fact the Airport parking is a separate company to the business park, though operated by the same directors. I don't know what would happen to pre-paid parking if it folded.

Anyway. For anyone interested, here's the section on notice.

The Notice requires the cessation of the use within 30 days of the date on which it
takes effect, which was considered adequate by the Department’s representative
as it would facilitate the return of owners whose vehicles were already parked on
the site and allow for the cancellation of future bookings. The Objectors endorsed
the original compliance period as there was considered to be adequate convenient
car parking at BIA. Although the thirty day period was considered unreasonable by
the Appellant, who advocated an extended period of 9 months, there was no
evidence that the 30 day period did not permit enough time to allow for a phased
closure. Notwithstanding any long-term bookings the Appellant may have, no
physical works are involved and I am not persuaded that 30 days is an
unreasonable period for the Appellant to comply with and remove vehicles from the
enforcement notice site. The appeal under Ground (g) fails.
