Looks like bad news for Karl http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-22964206 and possibly others who provide off-site parking.
Last date of business for Karl is 30th June.

...have an impact on the services that the airport would be able to offer.

    'Services' being the overpriced carparks??

KARL hasn't been doing too well. That big Obel tower gets repossessed and now their car park gets shut.

    ????
The Obel project was originally backed by a consortium of developers, but in 2008 the Blackbourne family took full control, buying out their partners with the backing of BoS.

Sorry confusion here, Karl properties bought out their partners in 2008, Karl properties ltd, a subsidiary of the Karl group I believe. But yeah you're right, the Blackbourne family, who are directors of KARL holdings "bought out" their Obel partners in the joint venture, Donegal Quays limited.
