    AC shocks repel and if they're somehow being shocked long enough to need go to the fuse box and its not tripped then I'm sorry to say they're probably dead already.

    That doesn't mean they shouldn't have access or an emergency no for all the other reasons, our local shop was having to process all transactions manually for a weekend a while back because of a similar situation when the breaker went and it was in another building open only during the week and it was a right PITA for them.

    Was thinking more on the lines of faulty appliances etc where it needs to be isolated to be made safe.
