Hi all,
Looking to buy an over-bath shower screen. Anything I should look for or watch out for? Any reputable brands.
Looking to spend around the £100 mark - don't really want the glass to by flimsy. Presumably fitting it is relatively straight forward?
Thanks

Have a look at these pictures shower screens Pick one you like the look of and then ask peoples opinion of it.
I have one like this Siding Shower Screen but after a while the plastic sliders broke and the sliding screen became loose so I ended up drilling a bolt through the top and bottom so the screen was fully extended (could not slide back).0 -
Have just sourced and replaced two for relatives. Looked at loads.
You tend to get what you pay for.
A static screen may just creep in at £100 for something OK, starting at £60ish cheap and cheerful thin glass, flimsy fittings.
For folding they will be cheap and awful at that price point retail of £300 brings you into decent quality, thicker glass, better hinges, seals and finish.
I settled for this at around £200 if you search. PM me if you want to pursue no VI whatsoever.

Good quality IMO compared to that on offer at the sheds.
NB just make sure your wall can take the weight of any screen."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

I bought an Outasight shower screen after I heard about it in here.
The bathroom fitter who installed it for me was that impressed he's now recommending it to other customers.0 -
