Industrial Injuries & Incapacity Benefit and moving abroad

My husband has been offered a job abroad on a 3 year contract and we need to weigh up the pro's and con's as to whether it will be a viable option for us as a family.
At the moment I receive Industrial Injuries Benefit, two weeks ago they gave me a lifetime award. Also Incapacity Benefit long term, don't think I am due for a medical until 2013, I haven't had one for some years.
Does anyone know what the situation is regarding benefits and living abroad? Can I still get them? Will I get them back when we return?
Any help would be gratefully excepted.

What to do if your circumstances change
It is likely you or the person you are caring for will continue to get Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit - even if you are going abroad permanently.
The office that deals with your payment can give you more information.

It really does depend on which country you are going to as to whether you get all your current benefits.
See here for further information but, as it says, check with the relevant department before you make a decision.

It's the middle east. I have rung and no one seems to know, they want to take all my details and have someone ring me back and I am not prepared at the moment to make an official enquiry, I just want someone to tell mre so I can do some calculations.0
