Five people joint account

I had a joint account with 4 names on it with Natwest a few years ago. I opened it with a friend as a regular joint account with 2 names and then requested a 2 additional people once the account was set up.

This was something I did prior to finding this site and it not something I would consider doing any more (or would advise anyone else to do). The account is now closed and I am financially disassociated from my ex-flatmates.

All I can say is do not do it....You should never financially associate yourself with anyone until you know them inside and out and are aware totally of their financial situation and credit history! The chances of one of these five people having previous financial issues is very likely so I would not put yourself in the position of associating with them financially! Not only this, I would be surprised if any bank did offer this....
