Bravofly.co.uk/BMI and Me

I have booked flights from Edinburgh to Southampton in September to go down to Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

I, accidentally, booked the wrong dates. I called Bravofly who i booked the flight through and they said the flights will cost £180 just to change. The flights only cost £220 is there anyway around this?

I phoned them and they said they are non refundable so i feel pretty much screwed

if its a non-refundable ticket you've bought, then nope, nothing much you can do about it.
  • very frustrating!

the changes equated to £40 per ticket per person. so thats 2 people v 4 ticket!

how are they getting away with this? the banks dont get way with charging £35 a time for mistakes. why should the airlines

All they are doing is changing the flight time. the actual flight times we needed are still available.

    boggles the mind...

when did you book them - maybe worth calling flybe (assume that is who you are flying with?) - they maybe to help - although unlikely!

Not a great company to deal with. I would definitely speak to BMI to see what could be done.
In my experience with them Bravo Fly have said that i needed to cancel a flight as the name was wrong (it's for someone abroad) but when i spoke to Virgin they said that it could be done. - Had to go back to Bravo Fly to tell them how to their job!!!!
Still waiting for them to get back to me as bravo fly customer service is dire!!!!
    good luck!
