JSA holiday entitlement question.

Take as much holiday as you want but if you miss a signing on day for any reason then expect your claim to be "messed up".Hmmm I'm also on the WP so I've just googled Work Programme and holidays and it came up with a DWP Work programme guidance pdf that says
Participant has a holiday planned (within GB)
14.
The process for participants taking holidays differs depending on their claimant group:
•
All JSA claimant groups are entitled to a total of two weeks holiday within a 12 month period
*confused.com* lol:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

If you don't sign on it will. By signing on somewhere else your payment will also be late so it will in a way be messed up. and...they/you risk losing the paperwork between offices and it's your payment which is not paid.
Yes you need to let them know where you are signing on.
I have signed on elsewhere twice and received both my payments on time. Arrange to sign on elsewhere with your own JC+ the fortnight before. From memory they fill out a form and FAX it to the 'holiday' JC+ to let them know you will be signing on there.0 -
thanks, now I just have to find out where the nearest jc is to where we are going.Looksguywalker wrote: »I have signed on elsewhere twice and received both my payments on time. thanks, it's going to be a bitter-sweet holiday tbh. My MIL has recently been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, she's having treatment to give her a bit longer but they can't completely get rid of it so there is a very real possibility this will be our last family holidayAnd 'have a nice time':D
