in IVA & DRO
Hi all
Haven't posted for a while so firstly, 'hello'...
Ok, my IVA completed in Jan, woohoo and what a relief it is to be dealing in cash/simple bank account without all that worry anymore :j
We are now planning the next few years, and obviously my credit rating is dire but is there anything I can do to help improve it?
Also, should I send a copy of the IVA completion certificate to the credit reference agencies?
My partner (because of the joint mortgage) is being affected by my credit rating, he wants to buy a car and get finance for it - is there anything he can do to improve his chance of getting a loan?
thanks as always for your advice and comments

Hello there.
Firstly, congrats on completing your IVA. Your credit file should increase significantly once 6 years have passed from the date of your IVA, from what you've said that is likely to be only five or so months away!
What information is showing on your credit file regarding the IVA?
Your partner may be able to specifically requets that they are credit checked as their own entity - thus not taking into consideration any linked individuals (i.e. you!); some creditors may not consider doing this, however.
Best wishes,
