When I get an email notifying me that I've got paid, the address is on there & it says next to it whether the address is confirmed.
However, if the addresses are different, it might be worth messaging the buyer to check which one they want you to post to, then see on paypal if that's the confirmed address.0 -

I know there has been a discussion about his recently, but I always ship to the PayPal address as that is where I need my seller protection.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The PayPal address.
I have three PayPal addresses. One is the same as the Ebay address but the others are alternatives. I decide which one to use depending on the size of the item, whether it's being sent by courier, whether I'm likely to be away when it's delivered etc. For example, sending a parcel by courier to my home (Ebay) address would be a problem because I'm at work all day...0 -

That's a good point. I have things sent to my mother and to my sons at uni and choose the address I want, the eBay address is of course my own home address.
I would not be happy to get something that my mother is expecting urgently sent to me instead as I'd then have to pay more postage to have it sent to her.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. i had a feeling it was to paypal address but wanted to check with you lot before posting
many thanks0 -
When the customer checks out on ebay they select the address they want the order to sent to on there. I have sent over 10000 orders to the ebay address without ever checking the Paypal address and have never had a problem.
Have I just been lucky? I doubt it. Myself and Crowqueen believe it was changed so that the ebay address is the correct one to send to. I guess the jury is still out on that one!0 -

I have bought and paid for 4 things today, in each case I have chosen the correct address in PayPal not eBay. My eBay address still shows my home address even though one of my items is going to my mother.
It might be possible that the seller sees a different address to me when they check order details, or maybe it is a glitch.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It won't change your main address in ebay but it will pass the address you choose on to the seller who will see that address as part of the order details.I have bought and paid for 4 things today, in each case I have chosen the correct address in PayPal not eBay.
