Jersey from Birmingham - Need 6 months on passport?

Can anybody help me find the relevant link please. Flying with bmi baby in August and passport expires in November, do I need six months left on it as some countries do or will it be fine as its an internal flight. Website just states photo ID needed.

No, you don't need 6 months on your passport, or even a passport to go to Jersey.

There are very few countries in the world, and none in the EU where you need time remaining on your passport, it's a one size fits all myth banded about by travel agents who can't be bothered to check individual country requirements.

Gthe airline however may require specific Photo ID of which a current passport may be the easiest but no issue on how long it has left to run.

Some travel agents give incorrect blanket advice that you need six months validity on passports which simply isn't true for many countries including most of Europe and the USA.
