Avoid the Meerkat!

About a month ago I needed to renew the house insurance.

As per the advice, I decided to use some comparison websites...

As I have two small children I thought I'd go via "compare the market" in order to get the free stuffed Meerkat.

(Yes, I *know* I should have gone via a website that offered some sort of cashback but the kids have been on about these things for ages and who am I to argue?)

Anyway, upshot is I signed up for insurance weeks ago (Via the link) but no Meerkat arrived. No instructions on how to get the Meerkat, neither. Result? Upset children.

I emailed "comparethemarket" and Alexandir hasn't had the decency to even reply!!

So, why compare-the-market when instead you can avoid-the-Meerkat?

I'll certainly be taking my business elsewhere in future..

Then why there being no instructions via emails?

I am receiving emails from Meerkat saying 'here are best quotings' but no messagings confirmings such buyings of insurances.

I just being click on clickthough link which takings me direct to insurance website. No messagings sent via interweb windowing.

Why Alexandir no replying to my messagings directly to him, no?

    System is no simples, yes?

(PS: The above is my sarcastic attempt to sound like a meerkat)

It takes months to get the meerkat. I think it was around 3 months after taking out the policy that I got my meerkat

To be fair, I've been through the system twice and received a meerkat both times, and I don't remember having any particular problem finding out how to order one. I always thought it was fairly clear. It does take a while though; expecting to receive it within a month is probably optimistic. I think mine both took around the 6 week mark to arrive.

I have two of the same, and they took ages
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
