"estimated completion certificate"

Options
Can anyone tell me what the above is? My IP in charge of my IVA has asked for one along with a valuation of my house and a revised income and expenditure sheet as I have my house up for sale. I thought it might have something to do with the completion date of a future sale but I am wondering if this is actually something to do with the building regulations or something? I have emailed the IP but no reply yet. Can someone enlighten me?!

This is the OP's original post which she posted on the house selling and renting board.

    Hi,
Not sure if this is the correct place for this question but can anyone please tell me what this is exactly?

I'm on an IVA and our house was included in it as we are expected to release equity to give to the creditors although now our house has dropped in value and is in serious negative equity and we have received a letter from the lender saying that legal proceedings will commence soon. They have since agreed for us to sell the property.

However, the IP has called a variation meeting of the creditors and advised me that they may not agree to the sale of the property. Can they do this even though the lender is commencing repossession proceedings if no sale is successful? The only alternative then is bankruptcy and that will not benefit anyone as I have no assets. At least with an IVA they will get something back.

Anyway, I am waffling. My IP said we have to send off an "estimated completion certificate" along with a new income and expenditure sheet and a valuation figure for the property. Am I thick or what the hell is that?? I assumed it was to do with completion dates for completing the sale (although we have not agreed a sale as yet) but I am thinking now it may have something to do with building regulations? Anyone have any idea?

I thought it was something to do with estimating the date of her completion certificate for her IVA and suggested that she posted on here for some help as this isn't really my area of expertise.

    Can anyone help?

we got into financial difficulty due to a job loss and could no longer pay the mortgage, we offered lower payments and they were declined. we are not eligible for assistance with our mortgage and there is no mortgage rescue scheme available here in NI so we fell into arrears and could not afford to keep house so mortgage company said they'd instigate repossession proceedings although they then said we could sell it if possible.
