Hello,
I failed to report a change of job to HMRC by about a week before the deadline and now they are saying i will have to re-apply for tax credits.
I have a payment that is due Wednesday and I reported the change which has led to me having to re-apply on Friday afternoon, will I recieve any payment on Wednesday before they stop paying me until I have re-applied as I know they pay this in via BACs which takes 3 days so will they have put it in on Friday to clear Wednesday?
Thanks in advance

Did your hours change? Was there a gap between your jobs?
What deadline are you referring to?

I left my job end of april and started a new job on 6th june and didnt inform tax credits, they said there is a 4 week run on period which took me to the 24th may but i didnt declare my new job until last week so there was a period of a couple of weeks where I didnt inform them therefore they have said i need to re-apply.
My payment day is wednesday and i informed them friday afternoon, will they have sent the payment via bacs on friday morning so i will still get a payment tomorrow or can they cancel it straight away?0 -
it's 2 working days early, not 3. So no you shouldn't get the payment. You aren't entitled to it anyway as thats from your old claim that ended. You will be overpaid since you didnt tell them.Saving money like a trouper...0
