Cycle insurance

Hi Martin/Team,
could there be a focussed section for best value for money cycle insurance please?
(if there's something already, apologies I've missed it or can't find it - otherwise there's some fragmented historic posts)
I know cycle insurance is normally linked to home & contents insurance policies, however my policy is becoming very expensive (exorbitant!) as I've upgraded my bikes over time.
As cycling is now becoming a great British passion, with worldwide success!, I think it warrants a specific area amongst the car & motorbike sections for the growing number of cyclists (& unfortunately thieves!) there are now.
I would hope there could be information & recommendations for people with multiple bikes, with value of some bikes exceeding £5k - & possibly if there are considerations for discounts if (like me), say you have an alarm on the garage with ground anchors & strong chains for security.
Many thanks & keep up the great work!

Last time I looked M&S Home Insurance had a very high monetary level of cover for cycles and were not charging premiums to reflect the risk.
They may have stopped offering it though as this type of thing attracts people with high value bikes and when the claims start rolling in Insurers often change their cover or premiums.
Worth a look though0 -
I've had 3 Home Contents policies that provided cover for bikes up to a value of £1,200 at no cost additional - I just had to ask them. Specialist cover for bikes (like phones) will cost considerably more!0

Evans Cycle Insurance...

I have two bikes insured through Evans, £1500 bike costs just under a tenner a month to insure, and the £800, cost about a fiver a month.0
