Basically, I possibly might have a job in Canada, I've got through to the interviews of which there are 25 people competing for 10 visas.
So whilst nothing is guaranteed, I do have a 40% chance.
Thing is I currently have a £9,000 credit card here, balance fixed for life at 4.5% I'd like this not to change if I move abroad, but obviously if my address is no longer in the UK, I'm worried that they might demand full payment which I can't afford.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I have no intention of defaulting but I don't think the bank are likely to agree

They won't demand immediate repayment, or remove the LOB offer. But they may remove the use of the card and move the account to paydown mode only (ie no more spending).0

Excellent don't care about spending so that would be perfect. Would it have any negative impact on my credit rating should I return to the UK in a few years? In dreams there are no impossibilities0

You could just change your address to a family members/close friends house.0
