new laptop help please

I bought a new laptop over the weekend its got Microsoft office trial on it but Ive got my own office do i remove the trial one before i put my own on it

If you have a copy of office 2010 and that's what the trial is then you will have the option to activate an already purchased license. Just open the trial and it gives you that option and follow the on screen instructions.
If you have 2007 or 2003 then you will need to do a full install from the disk.0 -

its office 2010 wish i had known that before i removed the trial copy
just got to figure out to get all my favorite web sites on to new lappy before i put it in to shop to get it back to factory settingsI am not an expert I am self taught i have no legal training any information I post is based on my own personal experience and information gained from other web sites

What version of Windows on your old laptop?
You shouldn't need to take it to a shop to have it put back to factory settings. You should be able to do that yourself.How do I add a signature?0 -

Windows comes with a built-in tool to do this (and other similar things) for you. In 7 it's called Windows Easy Transfer, under System Tools.0 -
