Good god we're all doomed. Get the provisions in and hide under the bed.
Obviously so gripping you missed the two posts on the subject almost immediately below yours.0 -
They are no different than any other bank. I like the way the spokeman at the end said it was unacceptable what this trainer was saying etc. These people work in an ivory tower and dont see what is really going on.
The saddest part was when an elderly man went in for a £500 loan for a bed only to be declinded. But !!!!! face in the branch tried to sell the guy home insurance. I would have told her to p...s off.
I must say I went to Barclays today and saw a smashing Personal Banker about my ISA. She never tried to flock me anything and when I even mentioned I had further 20k to invest she did not pressure me into seeing their FA.0 -
So true. The lady Barclays boss was a joke saying that most of the staff were happy. They don't have a clue.0

Yes, I was gripped by the programme. In fact whilst it was on I called Barclays (had to wait in the queue for 15 minutes when I normally get through almost immediately.....hmmm wonder why that was!) and converted our First Additions account back to a standard current account. The man I spoke to still tried to convince me to stay...didn't bend though!
At the end of the conversation I made an off the cuff comment saying that I thought they would be busy tonight....he asked calmly why and I said I was watching BBC1 and I thought they would be inundated with calls from people just like me.....he couldn't answer me....I suspect they are feeling quite worried!0 -
Damned, missed the program. Anyone know where I can find a recording of the program?0
