Credit Card for unemployed mature student

Hi, I am currently on long term sick with no income, I am on benefits and need a credit card, I also have just been informed that my interest free overdraft has been removed. Any help would be much appreciated.

Unlikely, but you could try one of the sub prime cards, who accept higher risk applicants with low incomes (assuming your benefits will be counted as an income).

Wind up? You NEED a credit card ? Nobody NEEDS a card especially someone on long term sick without employment income !
The sure fire way to get into debt by irresponsibly trying to obtain credit.
