Over £500 claiming for the cost of cleaning uniform, because this triggered a tax refund I'd missed from the previous 6 years.
Wins on competitions : approx £1,500 in goods not cash.

About £2k over the years on insurance policies, £185 for bank switching, plus about £15k on my mortgage as I'd never have know that you can overpay and save thousands in interest!

Difficult to say but I'm guessing £10k+. By the time the mortgage is finished it may well be over £25000.

But what about all those bargains we get thanks to MSE. The reduced from £99 to £7.50 type. Would that count as a £91.50 saving or a £7.50 loss. I'd never have bought it if it hadn't been reduced in the first place.
  • Thanks to matched betting... easily over £25,000.

Debs can you please include negative amounts to cater for those poor souls who lost thousands of pounds as a result of using the Crown Currency Exchange best buy recommendation on here.

    Thanks in anticipation.

Think Mr Lewis will have to rethink this survey as he will be in a very Big Minus Situ when you consider all the money Lost through Crown Currency on the recommendation of Mr Lewis - Just a few Million

Had saved a tidy sum until October 2010 when CCE collapsed - still trying to re-coup the loss. Come to think of it, what about a poll to show how much people have lost - I heard of one poor soul who lost over £100k!!!
