carpet trim between hallway and bathrrom

hi- we had new carpet fitted few months back. over the last few days i have seen the carpet trim between hallway and bathroom has become a bit loose and is moving a bit. This means the bathrrom door is not opening correctly.

Bathrrom is tiled, hallway is carpet.

any ideas if i can fit it myself or do i need to get a carpeter out to look at it? not sure if our fitters (carpetright) have any sort of guarantee on installation!

1st stop, try the firm that fitted it.

If no joy get a carpet fitter in to have a look at it.

Can you not just p[eel the carpet back and tighten the screws? Or add a couple just to tighten it down. A lot less hassle than waiting for the fitter to arrive.

i dont know where the screws are as one side of the trim it is tiles and other side it is carpet. i have only seen screws when the trim is between two areas which are both carpeted e.g. hallway and bedroom

most screw on trims are designed to be carpet side with a sit on lip for the tile/laminate/wodd etc.
its a thin metal anyhow so you can always add a few more extra screws
