I have the water infection because I am not drinking enough apparantly and I have to be honest I have only been drinking 1 glass of water a day the past couple of weeks.
The doctor said she couldn 't say if it was the CD that had done this to me, but she said I have to be sensible and that not eating isn't very good and all the usual lectures you get from people. I'm not giving up though. I have such a long way to go, but I have decided that I will be doing SS+ a few days a week, as I think the shakes were taking their toll on me.
oh yeah, i mean ketones are held up as a great indicator of fat burning in cambridge and i personally covet my ketostix in an unhealthy fashion! but ketones in a person can indicate problems ordinarily.... and especially in a diabetic person...welsh_cake wrote: »Goldie - Hope you are not going to leave us now you are at goal. she better not! i really will be interested to hear her maintainence stories, as that's probably even more important than the losing in a scary way......I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

3 1/2 is incredible, well done! How long did that take you? :TStill to go: 24lbs:think:0 -
moneybubbles - 1lb is great. I can't wait to be 11stone. I feel like I have been in the 14s forever now and its only been 2 weeks (I think).
I am fine now thanks - they think it was kidney stones. If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A0 -

Thanks everyone! I am starting maintenance at next WI and have three shakes plus a larger portion of protein and green veg/salad for a week, then move up through the stages a week at a time.
As Maz says, this will be hard - trying to avoid scoffing everything in sight. I had planned to get to 10st 7lb originally on Cambridge but I have decided to do the maintenance properly and then count calories and exercise to see if the last half stone will come off through conventional eating. My plan is that this will keep me eating sensibly and I will be able to convince myself that I can stay at this size for life.
My achievement is nothing compared to most of you who have done a good couple of stone and been on this for months and those who have still got a long way to go and are focused. You bet I'll stick around! I want to see you all get to your targets too.Slimming World: SD: 2.05.16 SW: 13st10lb
