How can I get my interest rate down?

in Credit cards
I was made redundant 3 times in three years. I took my last job at a £6k pay cut as it was the only one I could get at the time in my line of work. It takes me about 2 hours to drive there every day. (Moving is not an option right now.) I have had to put loads on my cards just to pay for the fuel to get there (about £80 per week) but now I am finding the interest unmanageable. I have 3 credit cards, all with about £3500 on EACH! I transferred one to a 0% with Nationwide, my Barclaycard is a closed account from when it was taken over from Egg, and my Virgin card is the one I am using. I don't touch the Nationwide card, I tore up the pin when it arrived so I wouldn't be tempted.
I have other debts:
£3800 car loan
£3200 personal loan
£1200 student loan
£1800 overdraft
I have a new job starting September which is nearer and more pay, not quite my old salary but better. I live on my own and don't have anyone to help me in the short term. I have ebayed everything I can and been doing overtime at work and taken on an evening job but the interest is swallowing up anything I make, as well as killing me with exhaustion.
Is there any way to get the closed Barclaycard or Virgin card on a lower rate? I tried applying for a loan to pay them off but they said I had to much outstanding on cards and declined me. My credit rating is excellent so far as I have managed to pay them on time but I cannot manage much longer. I tried to get a cheaper car but I couldn't get enough for mine to pay off what is owed. I think I will need to wait 6 months before I try anything again.
Suggestions appreciated.
