Best Auction End Time

So what in your opinion is the best end time for auctions? I've found a Sunday between 7 and 8 is best for me.

On the other hand if you end a bit later on Sunday you may get buyers who've lost their first choice item and want to buy yours instead. Sunday evening ending is very popular.

Monday lunchtime ending would be good for attracting the ebay-in-the-office bidders.

It depends pn so many things. I'd guess that 40-50% of auctions on Ebay end on a Sunday. If you have a sought after item that 1000 people want, it doesn't matter if you end it at 4am on a Wednesday or 8pm on a Sunday.

With changes in search, it can be that you hit lucky by ending an item at a strange time of day. I've had some great results ending on a Saturday and the worst ones ever ending on the same day.

A quick test would be to check similar items to yours in completed listings and see the ones with the best prices, what was the start price, how long was the listing, start/end times?
