Unless you have 'ticked the box' stating you do not post overseas (or specific places) and it appears you have not,the buyer could not have won the item.
Unless you have a very understanding buyer, you could be facing a bit of aggro if you do not post the item.
    Good luck! :D

Give him a price for the postage and if he pays send the item.

Have checked postage and parcel force will be around 60 pounds!
More than the price of the item. Will see what he says.

    Thanks

What service are you using? Could you find a cheaper service by looking at couriers?

You may be able to ask CS to get the transaction cancelled if you clearly stated you would not post overseas in the listing, but if you are not careful the buyer could ding you if he thinks you are just making it too expensive for them to bother, so do a bit of digging ASAP and have a look for a cheaper quote.

Then go into your preferences and block buyers in countries to which you do not ship.

Have looked at other options and all are super expensive. Have agreeed with buyer to cancel, just need him to confirm it now. Just gutted as it was the most expensive item I sold.

Shame :(. But hopefully there will be another buyer along.

Can you do a Second Chance Offer, once it is cancelled?

I would also wait now until the autumn to list anything much (outside of free listing weekends if you are eligible). Summer is slow at the best of times but this summer has been glacial. You might get a bigger pool of buyers in the UK where you want them.
