Afternoon all.
I've just quickly skim read last night and today's posts - not had time to read the rest of the thread or do any flying at all yet this week (or even looked at the lists).
Pigpen - Fabian is gorgeous. Must remember I'm not allowed to get broody!Yes Mrs_Bee you ARE in the special 10, things are strange in bumpkinland :cool:PPS - and - I know I'm only a newbie, and should know my place, but you are not being firm enough with Mrs-Bee, if she is one of the '10' then nuddy it is!!!0 -
Pigpen, so sorry to hear its getting your DS down. My colleague has t1 and said it took him ages to accept it. As a teenager it just made him so angry, it got in the way of everything. It bothers him a lot less now (he's 25).
Anyway, I know this because I noticed he never brings butties for lunch, and asked him why. He said he rarely eats bread, and generally follows a low-ish carb diet. He said his dr didn't approve as they say eat and inject, but he says over some years he's reduced the amount he needs as he's slowly cut out carbs especially refined ones.
Anyway, I may be talking out of my arris, but there is some info here

Afternoon all
Only laundry done here as I've been hedge cutting next door for a lot of the day and to knee rehab.
Just going to get the washing in, bake a cake of some sort and start dinner before cricket, via the dump with the hedge trimmings to save a bit on petrol.
Spoke to DS3 class teacher about next year too.
Vanilla, hugs and strength for you
Nanamia sticks for your BD
Love for LL, Toots, Hex, Greenbee, Serena, Polly and PoohThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I've heard this as well, both that some GP's don't like it and that it seems to be a quite efficient way of managing diabetic diet.
Anyroad, busy on the decluttering front - I look forward to finding the swimming pool as our flat obviously has Tardis properties:o - and trying to make sure the cooker stays clean after it got blitzed last week.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
