cyclingyorkie wrote: »That must be a very difficult decision pigpen - it has always ben obvious to me that whatever you feel about KH you want your children to maintain a relationship with him.... and I can appreciate how much you need your 'down time' when the kids are with him.
However I think you have done more than enough in trying to achieve this -and DS3's health and wellbeing is so important. I know it's a decision I'd struggle with - what does the solicitor say?
DS has just about recovered from the drink spiking incident - I'm not sure OH or i have yet - OH took yesterday as holiday to catch up on some shut eye... I didn't have the luxury....
I think it is very important they have a relationship with us both of us, but he is making it very difficult for me and them. They can then not say I prevented them making their own mind up about him. I don't know why I always expect more, he has nothing to do with our oldest 2, the next 3 hate him, the next 1 is getting there and the younger 2 are the only ones who go willingly.. I don't know what to do for the best. I don't think DS3 will be going when they go for a week though.. I'll be dragging him to OH's mums with me.. that will pee them all off but I don't really care... his health is far more important than their snobbishness... he is usually fine on his own.
I've not spoken to the solicitor yet other than informing him what was happening. I said I would leave it a month and see how things are.. but I need to chase him so will speak to him again.
Cuppa time... ring nurse and then crack on with a room.. it doesn't matter which one they are all gross.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

SpiritJoined Slimming World originally in December 05 at 17st 9lb and then followed a very hilly route. I now weigh 11st 12 lbs. Whoops, I'll now have to confess to being 12st 12lbs.:o0 -
Mawnin' all.:hello:I'm really not I feel really unwell at the moment, have a huuuuge case of guilt due to DS3 (my baby boy) who has T1 diabetes and is really struggling at the moment. I am actually going to give the nurse a call tomorrow and see if she can hurry the psychologist referral as he is now withing he was dead as it would be better than having to do all his bloods and injections and have his dad making him (or allowing him) to become unwell..
Onto the Flying stuff....;)
I'll be dusting the lounge and hall one-handed shortly, just having a catch-up with the thread first. I already removed the Dilly nose-art from the patio doors – did them while I had the vinegar and cloth in my hand after doing the back door yesterday.;) So they're a blank canvas ready for Ted.:rotfl:
It is all just dusting really, too – we have no hotspots, as having eliminated them, I now don't allow them to form;) - if a spot looks vaguely warm, it gets jumped on from a great height!:D Mr LW has hoovered throughout; we don't have any stairs; the lounge window is the patio door, so no sill to get gibble collecting on it. And I did the bins yesterday, as today the bin-men come.;) My paperwork is all up to date. I even submitted my tax return yesterday:T – I just have a cheque to bank, which will happen on Thursday, when Mr LW can take me into town.:o
Bonnie a proper list of your supplies is a very good idea; I have mine on the computer, on a spreadsheet, so that it's easy to alter when I use or buy something. I have a sheet for the cupboard and another for the freezer, complete with which drawer things are in. (OK, I'm probably a bit OCD but it works for me).:D
OK, enough procrastination - time to gather the trolley (to place the things I can lift onto for dusting), and the dusting kit, and get cracking.;) As my left knee (injured in a car crash in 1990) is playing up, the trolley can double as something for me to lean on.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Pigpen - FWIW, I'd tell KH to take a flying jump and keep DS with you, the man [and I use that word loosely [sp?] lives up to his initials again KH and TF] I think DS should have a fly ladies hug and you sound like you need one too and KH can have a kick where it hurts the most!!
Flying today - hoovered all downstairs and the stairs, washed, TD on, lots of other bits done too.
Rowan - have a nice time with your friends ;]]
