Guest bed advice

Hi everyone :)

I am having my inlaws over in about week for 3 weeks.

My flat is not minute, but we're going to sort them out some space in the living room for bedtime.

The problem is, I don't have a spare bed or a sofa bed. My father in law has back issues, so I can't get a mattress and put it on the floor.

I have been looking at the Eazy Bed http://www.pitch.tv/eazy-air-beds.aspx/ but don't know if I can trust the reviews. Also, if it's anything like our camping mattress, it stays very cold.

Any suggestions?

PS - I would give them my bed, but our sprung mattress is waaaaay past it's sell by date

If you gave them your bed, where would you sleeep then.
I was going to suggest buying yourself a new matress, put it on your bed, let them sleep there (our of the way in the morning lol) use your old matress for you to sleeep on for the one night in the living room then chuck it.

    Does that help your dilemma
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

An air bed will be difficult for someone with back issues to get in and out of simply because of the movement in the bed.

think the in-laws are staying 3 weeks?

i think this is a fab idea though,FIL with back problems needs a bed,or will be a very grumpy house guest!! :)

What sort of back issues does he have? (mine are sometimes sorted out by sleeping on the floor on my self-inflatable camping mattress)
