FSCS 85K Protection Halifax & Lloyds TSB

Both part of the same banking group but currently both have separate £85,000 FSCS protection so you can have up to £170,000 in the two and are covered.
Are there any plans to change this at anytime in the future as they are both part of Lloyds Banking Group?

They are already part of the lloyds group. Its about keeping a separate banking license, Ive never heard one way or the other. Nothing is happening imminently0
