Thompson allocated seating

Hey all,

Hoping someone can help us with my in-laws query. They have booked a week in Spain and paid for allocated seating on the flight (90 days prior they get a link where they can book their seats).

Now to me, that means they can book anywhere on the flight. HOwever, they have received a phone call since booking from Thompson offering them extra legroom seats at an additional cost.

Is this right?

Thanks to all who reply!

You can pick anywhere you want but always pay more for extra leg room

see that doesn't make sense! If you can pick anywhere you want, why can you not pick the extra leg room seats? ie front of plane or emergency exit seats.

its because you pay extra extra for those seats (not just extra once ;)).

because that's how they make a bit of money out of you - when the seating plan is released it will have different colours to define different things - like a booked seat, available seat and extra leg room with added cost - also worth checking a "seat plan" website or what you think is a good seat might be a seat that appears to be a window seat having no window or unable to recline

Corrected thank you. I should also have added don't sit in the fight attendant's seat.
