Bidder wants more items

Hi everyone.
I'm currently selling some stuff on ebay, and have just received an e-mail asking if I have anymore of the same item and how much.
I replied with the total I'm willing to supply for etc etc.
Agreement reached.
The buyer wants me now to place a 'buy it now' on ebay, let him know and he'll buy it.
I don't want to do this as I will incur listing fees and final selling fees, plus it has nothing to do with ebay, plus somebody else might see it as a bargain of a lifetime and buy them, causing me to have to sell to them or risk the wrath of refusing to complete the deal.
What would you guys do ?

u can request a payment via paypal (i think) and then he/she can send u the payment, provided its a confirmed address continue the deal or alternatively if its a high value item then I would ask the buyer to send a cheque, at least once it clears then you have the money and there is no real way he/she can try and rip you off (just keep all your communication with them).ummm...0

I bought items in a similar way to this, in that case I sent the seller a paypal payment and he sent me the items at the agreed price. I had already made one purchase from him via eBay.0

the buyer prob wants it for ebays "secuirty" if you do decieded to go down that route tell the buyer the score and a £ or 2 will be added to the price. To stop random buyers bidding on it, make it a pre apporved auction (dunno how to do it, but only people you accept can bid on it)0

Yep you have a nervous buyer out there. Add your listing fees and FVFs to the price if he wants to go down this route.
Personally though a bird in the hand and all that; I would probably do it if I was happy with the price I quoted him first time round. It is always turnover and the faster the better.
One way round it might be to sell the item at 99p and ramp the postage saving on FVF (awaiting the scolding for suggesting such a thing!!). I bought something from China using this method gave a me a little peace of mind.0 -
Maybe the buyer has requested to go through Ebay as he's worried you might report him for trying to trade outside their T&C

If I were you I'd email him and and suggest that you are willing to sell him the items privately to avoide fees/charges and see if he accepts. If you've already traded with this person via Ebay then their must be some trust already built up in that he has come back to you for more."An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

I agree that you should add yours fees to the final price too. It's understandable the buyer wants the 'security' of ebay, as it's mentioned in pretty much every email you recive from them!0 -
I've told them I'd prefer not to put it through ebay for the reason of the fees and also that I'd prefer not for people to see these items sold in this way, this is a one off deal and I don't want everyone in future trying to buy the auction.
It looks like they are willing to send payment after I gave them a guarantee they could return the items if not happy.
Have to wait for payment now.
