Ford Focus Tyres?

Can anyone recommend a good, reasonably priced tyre for a 10-year-old Focus?

I've always gone with the Pirelli P6000's as that's what was on them when I bought it, but reading the reviews, most people aren't that impressed and I must admit they don't tend to last me a great deal of time and I'm not an aggresive driver, burning round corners or nowt like that.

I don't mind paying up to around £80 a tyre if they are worth the money.

Thanks. :)

Depends if you want grip or long life. Compromise?

I have Khumo's a fairly budget tyre that grips better than it should at this price range. But they dont have the longest life.
I have michelins on the rear and i dont think they wear at all.

Tons of speedbumps around here which knocks the tracking out. Tyres wear on the inside edge. I wouldnt want to waste money on tyres that will do 100,000 if the inside edge only lasts 20,000.

    I'd want both ideally. :rotfl:

Pirelli P6000s are the only tyres I've ever had on a car that I thought were bad. They were fitted to the rear of my (2nd hand) car when I got them, and in the wet the rear grip was poor. The tyres had 5 mm of tread left so not worn to where you'd expect this to be a problem. I didn't read reviews of the P6000 till a puncture forced me to replace them, and was interested to see others had similar thoughts. (And some being a lot less polite!)

I replaced mine with Bridgestone Turanza T001s, which are much better. Depending on the exact tyre size you need you may find some useful test results here:
