How much should my electric be in a 1 bed studio?

Yep that is correct. Right Ill try it with output off completely and input on say 3?
Does the Input being 3/6 mean it is only working on say for arguments sake 50% of the 2.5kwh useage? ( I know it wont be 50% but its less right? )0 -
Best to keep the output off as I said in #9, if you look at it the other way round :
- there is x3 times the price day [supplementary] heating such as a fan heater etc, or ;
- there is cheap [er] x1 times the price night price stored heating available to you
The more you open the damper [output] the quicker you use the cheap stored stuff and the sooner you need to use a fan heater Input and output means what it says 50% input means you half fill it and 50% output means you use it at half the rate you would use it if you opened the damper fully. You should not really need to use the output at all .. .. and as 'Torry Quine' says NEVER at night unless you have a 'skunk' farm to take care of.
Don't get hung up on the technical stuff, but to help your understanding your living room 2.55kWh heater charging up for 7 hours will suck in roughly 17.85kWh of available output that's about the equivalent of 9 hours continuous use if you were using a 2kWh fan heater. What you need to remember is your home will be almost as warm at night as it is during the day. It takes about a week to warm the fabric of a home up from scratch in the cold weather - and about a week to begin to cool it down in May next year.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Bills averaged out at £27.00 a month over winter, granted I was freezing at times!0

You're doing very well...mine come in for a one bed at about 30 a month.A studio shouldn't take too much to heat.Same as you,sometimes I'm freezing but mine work out about 400 or less a year.You can always use an electric underblanket and hot water bottles,they don't cost much.0
