Ipad Problems Solved

Just wanted to say I have been having issues with the site in my ipad. The scripting is stripped every few pages and only very basupic html shows. The only way to solve is by clearing cache.

This is a pain as I have to do this every third or fourth click. I have now input open DNS on the ipad and not had any issues since. So it looks like the problem was some isp dns/cache conflict rather than primarily MSE.

Thought I would let you guys know as I know how time consuming it is trying to iron out scripting bugs. :)

I've not only had these issues on my IPad but also on my NetBook. As you say it behaves like you are viewing a website with no flash player installed.

Earlier today I just had loads of green lines along with display hiccups!

Yes - that is what I get too. Who is your ISP? Is it 02/Be by any chance?

Change your dns on your IPAD to open dns ones and it solves the issue completely.

Go to settings, then click on WiFi, then when your wireless networj is loaded and showing on the right, click on the > at the end.

Make sure the DHCP tab is in blue (if not, select the DHCP tab) and in the list below, put your cursor in the DNS field where it should show an ip address.

Select that IP and copy it and make a note of it (just incase you want to go back using it) then select and delete it and copy and paste this IP in that field or type it in:

208.67.222.222 (this is Open dns IP)

Move the cursor to a different field so it saves that IP and you are done. Clear your cache under Safari and off you go :)

On your netbook, if you let me know what operating system you are running I can let you know how to change on that system too.

You can change dns direct in your router, but I think it is better to change per device, especially if gaming consoles are run, as open dns never used to work properly for console gaming.
