Taking a flight into Marseille airport and from there need to get near to St Tropez. Aware there is a train to St Raphael but I cannot find (via the internet) details of the stops (if any) on this route. I would prefer to travel by train (rather than coach/hire car) and ideally a train to either Ste Maxime or Grimaud would be great. Is anybody able to point me in the direction of a French regional train route map which indicates the various routes/stops?
Thanking you.

Though a quick search says that you have to use a bus at least some of the way anyway.0 -
This is the route map but there are no stations where you want to go.

Your choices are Toulon or, as you say, St Raphael.0 -
The train doesn't go to St Tropez and that bit of the coast. There are buses, but some are seasonal. Google and maps.google.com are worth a thorough search.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Thanks all. By combining train/bus I have worked out best train station for me is Hyeres due to bus link. Does anyone know if there is any advantage (financial or otherwise) in booking Marseille to Hyeres now - think I have to nominate specific train time - or am I best to wait until I get to Marseille? Also are there any age concessions on French railways?
Thanks again :A0 -
Anyone can have a 12-25 railcard that gives discounts.
There is also a senior citizen discount but not sure if only the French are eligible for that one or not.
Children under 12 often travel on half fare.
You are usually much better off booking in advance. You can usually collect tickets at the station and not need to have them posted. Hope that helps a bit

Btw there is a bus from Toulon Station to Hyeres airport TLN, there may be other buses from the airport that go east by the coast towards St Tropez that might get you a little nearer to where you want to get to, but might take a little longer.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
