Starting a business while careing for disabled partner.

Hello,
I am wanting to start my own business, I have my business plan and all that jazz worked out and a website ready to go live.
I am currently in receipt of careers allowance, and my partner gets disability living allowance (high care, low mobility) and we get ESA. I will be working from home so it will not effect me caring for my partner.
I know i need to register for a tax number before i start the business, but on doing this would it automatically effect our benefits?. I'm not sure how long it will take to get the business noticed and start making money. Would we still be entitled to our benefits untill we start making money?.
Also, I am not wanting to keep benefits while making money from a business, i can't wait to be benefit free.
Thanks in advance.

When starting your own business you need to register within 3 months or there could be a penalty.
For carer's allowance check this info'

You can earn up to £100 before CA is affected.Forums can be/are a good guide to entitlement and it is good practice to back it up with clarification from the relevant department/specialist with written confirmation to safeguard yourself.0 -
I believe you may need to apply for working tax credits http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/start/who-qualifies/workingtaxcredit/work.htm0

To give any business a chance to become successful and bring in an income you can love on rather than doing in to claim benefits you will need to put the hours in. are you really sure you can provide 35 hours caring solely and put the hours in your business to set it of the ground and give it a real chance?0
