For £5 a week I get to join 48 other hopefuls who believe that the magical system will net them millions. Got it, £5 for a syndicate ticket that normally costs £1. They do waffle on about improved chances but not one of the testimonials has really impressive winnings.Ex forum ambassador

Hello All!
The other I received an email from a friend asking me to join an e-lottery syndicate!?!
Have you ever heard about such thing?
Here is what the webpage says:Frustrated UK & Euro Lottery Players Wanted!
Are you fed up of wasting £5 or more every week on the lottery, with no excitement and no winning tickets?
If so, you're exactly who we are looking for in our e-lottery syndicate! We play the same UK National or Euro Millions lottery with the same numbers, BUT our players increase their chances of winning a prize to 1 in 13! This therefore increases their chance of a win by up to 3600%
That's not all either! By reading our information we will show you how to play for FREE!
By downloading this FREE insider information you too can learn the secrets behind how this is possible.
Could anybody tell me if this works?
any info would be welcome!!!!

Same principal with chain letters (if you don't send these on to 10 people bad luck/money won't be donated etc). Just simple geometric progression, doesn't take many generations before you run out of people in the whole world."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

And also the "Women Empowering Women" and "Wise" pyramid schemes. You just can't beat the mathematics. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

Add in another 3 layers and you are at 6,103,515,625 which is just below the population of earth!
Like all MLMs the only people that will make money for is those at the top. The further down the pyramid you are the less chance you have of getting people to sign up.0 -

But I still feel the company does what it says on the tin.
I've had my cheques for my winnings and cashed them in. I've played the lottery every week since I was 16, and never one even once.
I played for 1 month with these guys (it's been nearly 3 now) but in the first month, I won *a* prize about 6 times. I'm just on the sad side of par for breaking even 3 months on, but I personally wouldn't be fussed about referring a million people or whatever, just the 5 (well, 10 for me as I play in both Euro and Lotto) to mean that I play for free.
Untilthen, I use Ciao, Dooyoo, YouGov and a whole host of other pay-for sites to keep the 'Internet balance' as I call it even.
I don't think it's a scam at all. Not one bit. I do however think that anyone looking at playing has to ask them selves these questions.
Do I already play?
Can I afford it?
If I want to refer, can I put the time in?
If the answer to any of those is no, I wouldn't recommend it.
Still, I get a free entry of my choice for free in to the £1000 draw each month too. Ultimately each week I'm getting what roughly 110ish tickets entered to the draws? Yes, of course, any prize is divided and even with the 700% chance improve on the lottery and 3600% improve on the Euromillions, the chances of a big win are slim, but as I played anyway and my net losses are a lot lower since I joined VMD, I might as well play and have those increased chances.
If I can refer, then bonus! I *could* play for free. (Assuming the people you refer keep paying)
What I mean is there is actually a difference between a scheme and a scam, and by no means is this a guaranteed way of making money - not at all, but if you do have to time to put some effort in to referrals, enough to play for free, then fantastic! These guys have (allegedly) been around for 4 years, so kudos to them. I wish I'd come up with the idea.
At least this way, I don't have to pester people to pay up at work in their syndicate any more.0 -
Yes I signed up for this and although I haven't had the time to work it properly is a legitimate business. Like everything else you do have to put the work in and nobody connected with VWD would kid you otherwise.
This wont be for everyone but of all the similar businesses I have seen it is certainly the best run
A good friend of mine has just, along with many others, been made redundant by Virtual World Direct (VWD) who cite major cashflow issues as the reason.
Best get any money owed to you out quick!!!0
