I'm really not a Facebook person though I did set one up sometime back for myself and my girlfriend, I've started using mine a little of late.
As there is only myself and my girlfriend who use this computer hers opens in IE while mine opens in Firefox, that way both of us can stay logged in all the time.
What is getting to me at the moment though is when the girlfriend opens up her page it opens on her Wall page, and that seems to be the way most of my friends pages open. Mine, however, opens with the News Feed page. I'd much prefer it to open on the Wall page but I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone
There seems to be an awful lot of settings in Facebook

I am not much of a Facebooker myself but i would think that you could go to your Wall page and then add a bookmark in Firefox to that page. Each time you visit Facebook, click on your bookmark and it will take you to your wall.0

Not very effective though, anyway I can't even find my Wall page0

Click your name at the top left hand corner. That is your own wall.0

Are you both on Timeline or old-style? Perhaps that's the difference. Some versions of IE have 'forced' a change to Timeline. If you prefer to be on the old-style, you can do this (you would need to have Google Chrome):
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE TIMELINE PROFILE AND WANT TO GET RID OF IT HERE'S WHAT YOU DO....Users have to use GOOGLE CHROME:go to TOOLS, click EXTENSIONS, then click bottom link- MORE EXTENSIONS, type in TIMELINE REMOVE, a post on right of page says- REMOVE TIMELINE? CLICK IT, (YOU DONT HAVE TO LIKE IT) then REFRESH FACEBOOK & you should have the Old FB Wall Back!!0 -

huh? what's ineffective about clicking on the right link to go to the place you want to go? how do you access Facebook? Do you start typing it into the URL bar or do you access it from a bookmark?
Your wall is accessed by clicking on your username at the top right of your Facebook page.0 -
Facebook should automatically go to the news feed. As has been pointed out, you just need to click on your name to see your own page.0
