Address Of House To Rent Associated With !!!!!! Site

Personally I would not touch it in a million years.
Not only is there the risk, however small, that some idiot might come knocking on the door late at night for 'services', there is also the possibility of a police raid if there is illegal activity (wanting to seize computers etc), and/or if legal action were to be taken against the owner of the site, the proceedings would be served at your address. And while it would be possible to explain the situation and show that you have no connection with the site, it would be a stressful and horrible experience.
It would have to be an amazing place, or amazingly cheap rent, or I'd have to be desperate for somewhere to live for me to even contemplate this tenancy. And probably not even then.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

The Agent might get a verbal warning for accessing !!!!!! sites on the office computer... :rotfl:
Even if the reason is valid, doing so can be the basis of a hostile working environment claim to anyone else working there seeing it..Stop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.
Actively hunting down the person who invented the imaginary tenure, "share freehold"; if you can show me one I will produce my daughter's unicorn0 -
Could be problems if you ever have any tradesmen eg plumbers round0

As ZZZLazyDaisy said, I too wouldn't touch this, for all the above reasons.Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0

Agree - even if nothing ever happens as a result of web sites would you ever feel totally safe and at ease there? Living on your own you need 100% confidence - who wants sleepless nights!!0

Thanks for more replies, yes I'm feeling more uneasy. I'm in no rush to move and it's not worth the hassle. I'm a typical worrier anyway so this would just give me something else to worry about!
I must still call the letting agency on Monday anyway to cancel my appointment for the viewing and also my reasons why.
Also if the letting agency isn't aware (presuming not) then they may not want their agency associated with the property either.0 -
