Hi Guys,
Just been given a 4th gen 8gb ipod touch as a birthday present. I am just wondering what more it can offer me compared to me existing smartphone, a sony experia play?? Could maybe bring it back, if the store allows, I just dont want the person wasting money on something that really isnt going to add any benefit to me.......Hoping you can advise.......

You have to decide, I have an ipod touch and to be honest gets little or no use , if my next car has ipod connection then it will get a lease of life cos I hate CDs0 -
I have a 64Gb Touch and a Sony smart phone.
To be honest I really like them both. The iPod gets used mainly for music and ebooks and the phone for everything else.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

I've got the 64Gb Touch and a SG2.
Use the Touch for all my music and the occasional photo, phone gets used for phone stuff and books. Don't have any music on the phone at all. Use my Touch with an FM transmitter in the car, and at the gym as the equipment there has Ipod attachements.
The Touch is definitely the best music storage player I have had (something which I never thought I would say as I'm not really an Apple person), and the ones I have had include Creative & Sony players.0
