Hi,
Looking for inspiration and advice really! I'd like to go away in october for a long weekend - around 11th/112th October and back on the Sunday.
Mums offered to have the kids so we can have a grown up and peaceful time.
any good ideas on where to go?
budget wise, as little as possible - or a bargain, for somewhere that I wont worry is going to be awful. I dont think we'd be looking at having more than £300-400 for the both of us.
venue - wherever. happy to look at anything!
I dont mind flying/train whatever, though would def want to look at factoring in what we need when we get there or transfers etc.
Just a great surprise that we've been offered the babysitting really :T its between our birthdays and we both turn 30 this year so it would be nice.

Depends a bit on where you are and what you like
IOW, Brighton, Cornwall. Devon, Wales, Scotland the list is endless.

Where would you want to fly from? Why not go on Flightchecker and see what cheap flights you can get from your local airport for the dates you want, and plan round them? Once you have narrowed it down, maybe the good people on MSE will point you to good accomodation, places to visit etc.0
