More Than Insurance - Cashback Declined

Hi

I purchased pet insurance for my 3 cats and I went through Top Cash Back to claim the cashback that was displayed there.
I purchased the insurance in Feb and its been sat there pending since then but its now payable at 0 ie More Than have declined it.
Has this happened to anyone else & do you know why ?

Cashback is only given if claims are successful I would've thought.

I would assume the OP got the cashback for taking out the insurance ..... which is nothing to do with whether a claim has been made or not.

OP - I don't use topcashback myself (Quidco) - can you raise a ticket or query through them?

I've had a similar problem with Morethan not tracking the TCB transaction. I've raised a claim with them & it's been "put on ice" until 22nd September !!!

It has happened to me through TopCashBack with a different merchant and the reason for the declined cashback was 'Another marketing channel was credited with the sale' which couldn't have been possible as I never went through another cashback site and always clear cookies.

You can lodge a claim for the declined cashback and see what the merchants reason is.



Why has my cashback been replaced with zero?

If your transaction is now showing as Payable at £0.00, this generally means that the merchant has declined the transaction or informed us that the purchase made is not eligible to cashback.

We are not told the reason for this at this stage but it may include one the following:

-You cancelled or returned the order or part of the order.
If you wish to lodge a Missing CashBack Claim, then please only submit this for the purchase value based on the items that you have retained..

-You used an unauthorised promotional/voucher code not published by Top CashBack

-You did not meet the merchant’s terms and conditions (see merchant’s page)

-You asked for a quote but didn’t make a purchase

-You used a saved/renewal quote to make your purchase

If this has happened to you, and you genuinely can think of no reason why your cashback should have been declined, then the best thing to do is to lodge a Missing Cashback Claim.
