sorry gettingready - have just got in from work - hope this works ..... http://s1050.photobucket.com/albums/s403/ohmocraich/
my boys are 'non-standard colours (in other words - their colours are not the allowed colours for championship - as they have been newly accepted to show the standards are quite strict - but i chose them specifically because of their purrsonalities) - I have a brown and a blue (blue is not a 'show' colour and although my other boy is 'brown' he is not melanistic or smoke and he is a darker colour of brown than is allowed for show (he is pure chocolate coloured). I have put photos of them with their maine coon 'siblings' up so you can get an idea of their size (the maineys are 2 and the savannahs are 1 - neither maineys or savannahs reach full size until they are 3). My blue boy is heavier than my girl mainey (the naughty tortie) and is probably a bit too podgy for his breeds sleek frame. My Silver mainey is very laid back and daft as a brush - and a total mammys boy (cute until all 26llbs of him smother you at 3am).
:rotfl:If it weren't for stress I'd have no energy at all. First rule of acting: Whatever happens, look as if it were intended.;)
Don't follow in my footsteps, I walk into walls:smileyhea When in doubt .............mumble.
I may look busy, but I'm just confused.:T I smile because i have no idea what's going on.:rotfl:

Thanks for sharing - your photos and cats are gorgeous :T

I take it you are referring to TICA for them being accepted for showing? They aren't yet allowed by the GCCF to my knowledge and I don't think they likely will be in the future (unfortunately) as I don't think they're going to allow any breeds from now on who have "wild" cat in their ancestry. Shame as I think they are lovely (though I think I'll stick to Bengals and possibly Toygers in future :D)

Yep - fridaycat - I was referring to TICA - the GCCF has strict rules about wild ancestry - although I think a lot of people are hoping that once they move up through the different levels and are established a bit more the GCCF will relax their rules a bit (highly doubtful at the moment).
I chose my boys purely on the basis that they were destined to live as spoiled pets rather than to show so their more unusual colouring was not an issue for me (and in the case of my brown boy was the reason I wanted him as soon as I saw him).

I have had cats all my life but i can honestly say I have never had such assertive cats as savannahs - they certainly keep you on your toes and in your place (although all my cats are as daft as brushes.....must be the company they keep).:rotfl:

Just to chip in; the nice lady who runs our local village shop has recently acquired two male youngsters, they're Savannah X Burmese and I have to say, utterly beautiful! Soppy, loving, and they like 'talking' to customers, though they both (despite being neutered) do like to explore a wee bit further than our friend is happier with.
